Words on Encouragement (Greek)
· Why comfort yourselves together, and edify one another,
even as also you do.
1Th. 5:11
· Let not your heart be troubled:
you believe in God, believe also in me.
Jn. 14:1
· We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed;
we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast
down, but not destroyed;
2Co. 4:8-9
· Cast not away therefore your confidence, which has
great recompense of reward. For you have need of patience, that,
after you have done the will of God, you might receive the promise.
Heb. 10:35-36
· A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit
will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your
flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit
within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and you shall keep my
judgments, and do them. And you shall dwell in the land that I gave to
your fathers; and you shall be my people, and I will be your God. I will
also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn,
and will increase it, and lay no famine on you. And I will multiply the
fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that you shall receive
no more reproach of famine among the heathen. Then shall you remember your
own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall loathe yourselves
in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations. Not for
your sakes do I this, said the Lord GOD, be it known to you: be ashamed
and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel. Thus said the Lord
GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities
I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be built.
And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight
of all that passed by. And they shall say, This land that was desolate
is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined
cities are become fenced, and are inhabited. Then the heathen that are
left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places,
and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will
do it. Thus said the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be inquired of by the
house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like
a flock.
Eze. 36:26-37
· Be glad then, you children of Zion, and rejoice in
the LORD your God: for he has given you the former rain moderately, and
he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter
rain in the first month. And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the
vats shall overflow with wine and oil.

you should be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which
shall be made as grass; And forget the LORD your maker, that has stretched
forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and have feared
continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were
ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?

that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater
works than these shall he do; because I go to my Father. And whatever you
shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified
in the Son. If you shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
Jn. 14:12-14
· But now thus said the LORD that created you, O Jacob,
and he that formed you, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed you, I
have called you by your name; you are mine. When you pass through the waters,
I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you:
when you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned; neither shall
the flame kindle on you.
Is. 43:1-3
· Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
